Brutti Buoni Cantucci 8oz
The Brutti ma Buoni (literally ‘ugly but good’) also known as "almond of San Clemente" are typical sweets of Prato.
The recipe is very simple, involves the use of white almond, whipped egg whites, sugar and hazelnuts. With the dough, completely made by hand, are created small irregular spheres (hence the "ugly") on the edible sheet into the pan and are cooked in the oven.
The distinctive features of this product are its sweetness, the intense flavor of almond and the different shape every time. A unique product, served as a dessert, often accompanied by Vin Santo.

Our cantucci are an original product, baked exclusively in our Jersey City store following an ancient Tuscan recipe. We use only high quality ingredients as well as organic fresh eggs and a customised variety of flour. We don’t use any oil, butter or dairy products. The cantucci don’t contain any kind of preservatives or artificial ingredients. Keep this in mind when you order online and when you receive your bags of cantucci be sure to store them in their original package to maintain freshness. They can naturally get less moist, but they will be good to eat for four weeks. You can also freeze them to use it at a later time.
